About

Overview

The Richmond Generals Tier II organization offers a competitive program to help talented youth hockey players ages 8-18 develop their skills and become better people toward a lifelong love of hockey.

We seek to recruit and retain talented and dedicated players, coaches and volunteers to field USA Hockey-sanctioned teams.

In 2016, the GeneralsTier II program evolved from the Richmond Royals hockey club, which earned a national reputation of developing competitive hockey players over two decades.

Though we now wear the same jersey as the rink-managed programs hockey programs, the Generals Tier II club is a stand alone entity. We are operated by Richmond Hockey, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Message

Hockey is the greatest game on Earth.  The lessons learned from Hockey parallel into the real world.  It is such a great teaching opportunity both for players and parents. It teaches, toughness, discipline, structure, how to win, how to lose, how to pay the price, and that there are no short cuts.  Hockey creates life long relationships and we want to create a positive experience for every player.
